Harleysville Baseball is a community baseball organization offering intramural and competitive baseball for ages 4-16 (4 year olds must turn 4 before May 1st). The overriding goal of Harleysville Baseball is to provide all players with a fun, quality, and competitive baseball experience.

Harleysville Baseball has been providing the community with youth baseball since 1957, when we started as the Harleysville Little Lions League with our initial sponsor, the Harleysville Lions Club.

We offer a structured, age-based, development program and ensure all coaches are qualified, obtaining the necessary PA state background checks.

We also offer a summer travel program that is affiliated with Ripken Baseball, which allows selected players to compete against other local baseball organizations in tournaments, as well as District and State Championships.  Harleysville Baseball has experienced consistent success in competitive tournaments at all ages including winning the Connie Mack “A” State Championship in 2015 for the 5th time!

We pride ourselves on having one of the top baseball facilities in all of SEPA. We have 8 outstanding fields at our main facility, along with batting cages, practice mounds, and an outstanding snack stand. For the family we have walking / biking paths and shaded picnic areas all at our Gruber Road facility.

Harleysville Baseball is a volunteer run organization and we are proud of the effort parents, siblings, and extended family put into making this a great organization.  A place to meet new friends, enjoy the community, and play the greatest game on Earth, baseball!!

Harleysville Baseball is a 100%  volunteer run organization and each position, no matter how large or small, allows us to provide our kids with the best intramural and travel baseball program in the area.

We have many different positions available, both on and off the field, and we encourage you to join our efforts today.  We simply couldn't do it without you!

General Membership Meetings

We invite everyone who is interested in the success of Harleysville Baseball to a monthly meeting to hear reports from the board of directors, and for those who have voting rights, discuss and decide on league matters.  Attending a membership meeting is a very easy way to learn more about our league and about volunteer opportunities.

Everyone is welcome to attend - not just board members - and you only need to attend two consecutive meetings to obtain voting rights on the third.  For more information, please contact [email protected].

Board of Directors

Each board member is elected by votes at General Membership Meetings or appointed by the President, as outline in our by-laws.

This year, we will be electing President, Treasurer & Member at-large positions.  Nominations will take place at the June meeting and voting will take place at the July meeting.

If you are interested in a board position, please contact [email protected].

Snack Stand Committee

The snack stand is managed each year by a Coordinator and a Committee, in addition to the adults who work the window during games as assigned by your team.  The Coordinator manages the inventory and operations, while the Committee assists the team volunteers with opening and closing the snack stand each day.

The success of our Snack Stand contributes to the ongoing fiscal stability of our league.  It allows us to make improvements to our facility, as well as keep registration fees low.

If you are interested in joining the Snack Stand Committee, please contact [email protected].

Facilities/Field Maintenance

In addition to the Field Maintenance Coordinator who ensures everything is in fine working order, as well as making repairs and upgrades, each team is expected to do their part at assigned monthly field maintenance days.  These work days give our players a sense of ownership of our fields, as well as keep costs down and guarantee that we have one of the nicest complexes in the area.

For more information about our facilities and field maintenance days, please contact [email protected].
